Mardis Gras Madness 2010!

NASDOG Racing sent a record 4 teams to Weston Whirlwinds' Mardis Gras Madness Tournament on Valentine's weekend!  The team was hopping all weekend as we seemed to be 'on deck' all weekend but the dogs didn't seem to mind all the action.

This event marked NASDOG's first ever Veteran's team which included 4 team dogs: Loki, Dell, Shadow & Riley.  What a blast the dogs and handlers had in the lanes!  Once we worked out the passes the team made plenty of points and even posted a few 22 second runs.  Very impressive showing for the old dogs.

Overall the team placed extremely well earning 2 First Place ribbons, a Second Place and a Fifth Place.  Scandal made his official debut in the lanes this weekend and did pretty well posting some decent times for his first event.  He's a little 'lane challenged' but considering he didn't chase any of the other dogs we are very happy with him performance.

The team also presented Kevin, Barbara and Loki with a beautiful cake marking Loki's achievement of Region 13 MVP!  We are so proud to have this wonderful dog as part of our team. 

Portland 1-Day Event

NASDOG Racing sent up a small group to Flyball Maine-iacs 1-day event in Portland Maine on January 23rd.  It was a fun way to break up the long winter months and get some lane time for our green dogs.  No frills... just flyball!
