Bio: Jazz has been herding since a young age. After their first New England winter, it was clear the Shaver Border Collie's needed an indoor sport as well. Jazz has dabbled in Frisbee and agility, however, after winning "Gotta Get It" (involving what else... tennis balls and running fast!) at the Mondanock Humane Society's Muttminster Dog Show at their Annual Walk for Animals, flyball was the obvious choice for Jazz's next venture.
Jazz is well traveled having made her mark in 22 states and 2 countries. Her favorite location so far has been Niagara Falls where she hung her head through the bars and enjoyed the spray from the falls.
Jazz's motto is "I wanna go fast, I wanna go fast, I wanna go fast" from her favorite movie - Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
Jazz made her official flyball tournament debut in Maine, Novebmer 2008. With the loss of one of our HD's, Jazz and Heather basically got to learn the game on the fly! They did excellent with Jazz earning 2 titles in her first event! Jazz shows excellent promise to be an amazing flyball dog - she has the speed and drive and she's fearless in the lanes.
