Bio: Diamond is the Queen of the house and rules with an iron fist! What Diamond wants…Diamond gets. We are extremely happy that Diamond can walk, let alone play Flyball. She took a horrible fall down our deck stairs one winter (shame on us…that will never happen again) and herniated a disk in her back. This required a major back surgery, and when there were complications healing from that surgery, she had to undergo a second major back surgery to correct those. Fortunately our baby girl has recovered and is nearly pain-free all the time. Althought she will occasionally get a little stiff and will require some “Doggie Advil,” we are thrilled she has recovered to this point.
We were completely surprised by Diamond’s reaction to the introduction of Dagr to the pack. We were unsure, since she is so dominant, that she would accept another dog in the house. Boy were we wrong! Diamond became the ultimate Mother Hen, taking Dagr under her wing and showing him everything she knows…God help us all
